Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking an NOC L2 Engineer with 6 years of experience to manage and implement changes on firewall platforms including Palo Alto, Juniper SRX, and Fortinet. The role involves hands-on configuration across Panorama, Juniper Space/SD Cloud, and FortiManager, with emphasis on secure access and network optimization.

You will work in a remote, work-from-home setup with 40 hours/week, collaborating across data center networks, SD-WAN, and L3 routing.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience as NOC L2 Engineer.
• Proficient in Palo Alto, Juniper SRX and Fortinet firewalls.
• Experience with Panorama, Juniper Space/SD Cloud, FortiManager.
• Familiar with SD‑WAN, L3 routing (BGP preferred), and data center networking.

Responsibilities

• Manage and implement configuration changes on major firewall platforms.
• Support Juniper Mist wireless environments and secure authentication policies.
• Configure and troubleshoot switching, SD‑WAN, and L3 routing (BGP preferred).
• Deliver datacenter network changes across ACI / VXLAN fabrics and EVPN.
• Deploy and maintain Cisco ACI constructs and Juniper SSR routing policies.
• Execute upgrades for Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco platforms with rollback planning.
• Perform Azure networking tasks: ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, VPN gateways, VNet peering.
• Configure remote access technologies including Palo Alto GlobalProtect and IPSec tunnels.
• Use Python, Ansible, and Terraform for network automation and compliance.
• Manage ServiceNow change lifecycle: creation, assessment, implementation, documentation.

About the Role:

We are seeking an NOC L2 Engineer with 6 years to manage and implement configuration changes on Palo Alto, Juniper SRX, and Fortinet firewalls using platforms like Panorama, Juniper Space/SD Cloud, and Forti Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and implement configuration changes on Palo Alto, Juniper SRX, and Fortinet firewalls using platforms like Panorama, Juniper Space/SD Cloud, and FortiManager.
• Support Juniper Mist wireless environments and integrate secure authentication policies.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco/Juniper switching, SD‑WAN, and L3 routing (BGP preferred).
• Deliver datacenter network changes across ACI / VXLAN fabrics, EVPN, F5 LTM, and BGP/OSPF connectivity.
• Deploy and maintain Cisco ACI constructs (EPGs, BDs, contracts) and Juniper SSR routing policies.
• Implement upgrades for Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco platforms with validation and rollback planning.
• Execute Azure networking tasks: ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, VPN gateways, VNet peering, and custom routing.
• Configure remote access technologies including Palo Alto GlobalProtect, IPSec tunnels, and Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA).
• Use Python, Ansible, and Terraform for network automation, compliance, and repeatable workflows.
• Manage ServiceNow change lifecycle: creation, assessment, implementation, documentation, and coordination.

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of Cisco ISE (802.1X, TACACS+, pxGrid, VPN auth).
• Understanding of EfficientIP (not mandatory).

Preferred Certifications:

• Fortinet: NSE 5 or NSE 7
• F5: CA, CTS‑LTM, or equivalent

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Juniper Mist wireless and wireless authentication
• Proficiency in Juniper / Cisco access layer switching
• Proficiency in SD-WAN
• Proficiency in L3 routing (BGP preferred)
• Proficiency in datacenter switching (ACI / VXLAN fabrics preferred)
• Proficiency in cloud networking (Azure / GCP preferred)
• Proficiency with load balancing (F5 preferred)
