Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Pune is hiring for Network Admin L2/L3 to support enterprise-scale LAN/WAN environments, firewalls, and VPNs.

You will troubleshoot routing/switching, manage Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco ASA, and Aruba Wireless, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with vendors.

The role requires 6+ years of hands-on experience, ITIL familiarity, and willingness to work in shifts/on-call.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on network engineering experience.

• Proficient in ITIL-based service management.
• Willingness to work in shifts/on-call for L2/L3.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-line support for network-related issues.

• Provide second-line support for network-related issues.

• Manage escalations from the L1 team and resolve them within SLA.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates on network devices.
• Configure and support daily tasks and basic firewall rules.
• Document network issues, solutions, and changes.
• Coordinate with vendors or ISPs when required.
• Cisco ASA and Aruba Wireless Network.

• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good understanding of ITIL based Service Management processes.
• Willingness to work in shifts or on-call rotation (for L2).

• Act as a subject matter expert for complex network troubleshooting and optimization.
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level LAN/WAN environments.
• Manage and secure firewalls (e.g. Palo Alto and Checkpoint).
• Handle high-severity incidents and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) documentation.
• Lead major upgrades, migrations, and network architecture changes.
• Provide mentorship and support to L2 engineers.
• Conduct risk assessments and capacity planning.

Soft Skills
