Job summary

Thompsons HR Consulting Pvt Ltd seeks an experienced Network Engineer to oversee WAN operations, provide L2 incident/problem support, and manage deployments for global sites. The candidate should be proficient with Cisco routers and MPLS/VPN/IPSec, and ensure security and compliance across the network.

Daily coordination with global telecom operators and backbone monitoring is part of the role, with a focus on large enterprise environments and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Network Engineering.
• Strong WAN operations experience in large enterprises or telecom providers.
• Solid Level 2 support background (incidents, problems).
• Expert Cisco router skills (config, troubleshooting).
• Strong WAN infrastructure knowledge (MPLS, VPN, IPSec).
• L2 support for WAN access incidents/problems.
• Daily management of WAN / global telecom operator (e.g. NTT).
• Support Backbone and network monitoring.
• Manage WAN changes and new site deployments.
• Ensure network compliance & security.
