Detailed Job Description:

As a Network Engineer supporting enterprise network infrastructure at Sify Technologies in Ghodbunder, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of network performance monitoring, fault isolation, configuration management, and firewall administration. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include deploying and configuring routers, switches, and firewalls, managing Fortinet SD‑WAN and VPN tunnels, monitoring network telemetry to guarantee optimal uptime, troubleshooting complex routing and connectivity incidents, and maintaining meticulous network documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise‑grade LAN, WAN, and wireless (Wi‑Fi) network infrastructures across corporate facilities.
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and core networking hardware components.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize Fortinet SD‑WAN architectures, site‑to‑site VPNs, and software‑defined networking policies.
• Monitor real‑time network performance, bandwidth utilization, latency, and traffic anomalies to ensure uncompromised uptime.

• Strong, demonstrable hands‑on operational experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, and core routing/switching protocols.
• Deep practical knowledge and deployment experience with Fortinet SD‑WAN appliances and FortiGate security firewalls.
