Detailed Job Description

As a Network Engineer supporting Fortek Services in Hyderabad, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of enterprise network configuration, firewall security administration, routing architectures, and infrastructure maintenance . Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing and maintaining complex LAN/WAN network infrastructure, configuring and troubleshooting FortiGate firewalls, administering Cisco Meraki network environments, executing routine network maintenance, establishing secure VPN tunnels, and monitoring network security posture and performance . You will utilize your proactive troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills to resolve complex network anomalies under strict service level agreements . Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, deploy, and maintain robust enterprise LAN/WAN network infrastructure across multi-site environments .

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 4 to 8 years of progressive professional experience in network engineering, firewall administration, or IT infrastructure operations .
• Strong, demonstrable hands-on operational experience with FortiGate Firewall configuration and security management .
• Proven practical experience with Cisco Meraki networking and cloud-managed infrastructure deployment .
• Solid practical understanding of core networking protocols, routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs .
• In-depth knowledge of network security best practices, intrusion prevention, and firewall rule auditing .
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities under active enterprise environments .
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong stakeholder collaboration abilities .
• Mandatory legal work eligibility in India and availability for full-time on-site operations in Hyderabad .
