As a Network Security Engineer (L3) at NS3TechSolutions Private Limited in Gurgaon, you will serve as the senior technical authority responsible for the design, configuration, optimization, and lifecycle administration of high-availability network security architectures. Working directly within our collaborative technical operations team, you will manage complex routing and switching fabrics alongside next-generation firewall perimeters, ensuring uncompromised defense-in-depth across corporate networks and data communications systems.

Your core operational responsibilities span administering Fortinet FortiGate appliances, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, Cisco ASA, and Cisco Firepower threat defense systems. You will engineer resilient IPsec and SSL VPN tunnels, configure high-throughput intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), enforce micro-segmentation using VLANs and access control policies, and oversee enterprise wireless security via Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC). In addition to proactive infrastructure engineering, you will lead complex Tier-3 incident troubleshooting, provide escalation support for Tier-2 engineering issues, conduct periodic vulnerability assessments, and execute security audits. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and administer secure enterprise network architectures utilizing Cisco Systems hardware and Fortinet security technologies.
• Configure, optimize, and maintain Cisco enterprise routing and switching platforms alongside Fortinet FortiGate next-generation firewalls.
• Deploy, fine-tune, and govern comprehensive network security solutions including Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower, Fortinet FortiGate, site-to-site IPsec/SSL VPNs, and IDS/IPS engines.
• Monitor network traffic telemetry and security events utilizing Cisco and Fortinet analytical tools (FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager) to detect, isolate, and mitigate threats.
• Perform structured vulnerability assessments, security compliance audits, and configuration reviews across all Cisco and Fortinet production environments.
• Implement granular access control lists (ACLs), role-based network segmentation (VLANs), and secure zero-trust network architectures.
• Troubleshoot and remediate complex Tier-3 network and security incidents across multi-vendor Cisco and Fortinet infrastructure to ensure minimal service interruption.
• Provide advanced L2/L3 escalation support for complex network security issues and secure corporate wireless network infrastructure using Cisco WLC and Fortinet solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 3+ years of total professional experience in network engineering and enterprise network security administration.
• Minimum 2 years of direct hands-on operational experience configuring and managing Cisco and Fortinet technologies.
