Job summary

Movate Technologies is seeking an experienced L3 Network Lead to manage a network team and implement changes to ensure high availability. You will handle critical incidents, configure routers, switches, and firewalls, and mentor junior engineers.

The role requires deep knowledge of BGP/OSPF/EIGRP, SD-WAN, VPN, and security devices such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ASA, and Firepower. You will collaborate with customers and vendors on deployments and capacity planning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise networking.
• Experience leading L3 networks or teams.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols, switching, and firewall architectures.
• Ability to manage critical incidents and perform RCA.
• Proven ability to mentor L1/L2 engineers.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 support for enterprise network infrastructure and critical incidents.
• Handle major incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem management.
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Manage routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and Static Routing.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and Wireless environments.
• Configure and support firewall technologies including Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ASA, and Firepower.
• Implement network changes, upgrades, migrations, and optimization activities.
• Monitor network performance and ensure adherence to SLA requirements.
• Participate in capacity planning and network design discussions.
• Support network security initiatives and compliance requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, SOPs, and runbooks.
• Work closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams during troubleshooting and project implementations.
• Mentor L1 and L2 engineers on technical troubleshooting and best practices.
