Job summary

Virtusa Chennai is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure. You will work with routing, switching, VLANs, and network security across large-scale environments.

The role requires hands-on Cisco and Ruckus devices, BGP/OSPF routing, and proficiency with TCP/IP. You will document topologies, assist with migrations, and coordinate with infra teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with enterprise LAN/WAN networking.
• Proficient in routing/switching, VLANs and security features.
• Experience with BGP/OSPF in large-scale networks.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network projects.
• Configure/ troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 tech.

• Maintain VLANs, port security, network segmentation.
• Handle BGP/OSPF routing protocols.

Job Summary Must Have Key skills - Routing, Switching, Network Security, Palo Alto, Zscaler, WAN, LAN, VLAN,APOS, Wireless Survey, RF Optimization We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise networking, especially in LAN and WAN environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing network infrastructure projects, configuring routing and switching environments, and supporting enterprise network operations across large-scale environments. The candidate will work closely with infrastructure and operations teams to design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize network connectivity solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure projects.
• Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking technologies.
• Manage switching and routing environments across enterprise networks.
• Configure and maintain VLANs, port security, and network segmentation.
