Job Description

• Expert-level knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts including VLANs, STP (RSTP/MST), EtherChannel, ARP, routing protocols HSRP/VRRP, and multicast.
• Overall 8+ years of experience. Very good communication skill required.
• Proven experience troubleshooting complex switching issues such as STP loops, broadcast storms, MAC flapping, VLAN mismatches, trunking errors, port-security violations, and asymmetric routing.
• Strong hands‑on experience with enterprise and data center switching platforms (e.g., Cisco Catalyst/Meraki, Juniper) and deep understanding of control‑plane vs. data‑plane behavior.
• Ability to perform packet‑level analysis using tools such as Wireshark, SPAN/ERSPAN, and CLI‑based debugging commands to isolate root cause quickly.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting high‑availability architectures (stacking, VSS, vPC, MLAG, redundant core/distribution designs).
• CCNP or CCIE certification (Routing & Switching / Enterprise Infrastructure) preferred, with demonstrated ability to handle critical incidents in large‑scale enterprise environments.
