Job summary

Param Info Computer Services seeks a Network Security Engineer to design, implement, support, and maintain secure network infrastructure—routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers—across on-premises and cloud environments.

The role requires deep knowledge of Linux and Windows servers, AWS, and Azure, with hands-on experience in security analytics, incident response, and continuous network health monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in network and security.
• Strong knowledge of network and security technologies including routing, switching, firewalls, intrusion prevention, intrusion detection, load balancers, VoIP, Wireless Controllers and Access Points.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, support, and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, link balancers).
• Manage network hardware, software, and security systems to ensure efficient, secure operation.
• Familiar with Software Defined Network architecture and SDN management and configuration.
• Provide technical network and security support as needed.
• Troubleshoot network issues, optimize configurations, and upgrade networks.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, support, and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, link balancers,
• This includes but is not limited to managing the network hardware, software, and security systems and ensuring the network operates efficiently and securely.
• Familiar with Software Defined Network architecture and experience in managing, supporting, and configuring.
• Provide technical network and security support whenever needed.
• Troubleshooting network problems, optimizing network configurations, and implementing network upgrades.
• Ensure the protection of the network and its assets.
• Collaborate with other IT staff including system and database administrators, and the application team whenever needed.
• Real-time Analysis of network traffic for misuses, and anomalies and taking necessary actions to mitigate the potential risks.
• Conduct regular network health checks and analyse.
• Good knowledge and understanding of Servers, Linux (Expert), Windows (Expert), AWS (Expert), and Azure (Expert).
• Ability to build and monitor services on production servers.
• Should be able to configure DNS, an AWS load balancer.
• Setting and maintaining the development server.
