Job summary

Volody Product is looking for a Cloud & Network Engineer with hands-on AWS experience to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud and network infrastructures. You will manage cloud services, networking, security, and automation to ensure seamless operations across hybrid and cloud environments.

Responsibilities include deploying AWS infrastructure, configuring networks, and ensuring security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT.
• 2–5 years in cloud engineering and networking roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, ELB).
• Proficient in network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
• Experience with IaC tools Terraform or AWS CloudFormation; Ansible familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, Route 53).
• Configure and monitor network architecture including firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and routing protocols.
• Manage hybrid cloud connectivity (on-premises to AWS) using Direct Connect, VPN tunnels, and transit gateways.
• Implement cloud security best practices IAM policies, security groups, encryption, and compliance controls.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and monitoring using Terraform/CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across cloud, network, and application layers.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to optimize infrastructure for scalability and cost-efficiency.
• Conduct disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and high availability implementations.
• Stay updated with emerging cloud and networking technologies and recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2 - 5 years of experience in cloud engineering and networking roles.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, ELB, etc.).
• Proficiency in network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewalls, Routing, Switching).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of Linux/Windows server administration in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Understanding of security best practices in AWS and network management.
• Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
