Job summary

Quantaleap is seeking a Network Engineer to design, troubleshoot, and support enterprise-grade routing, switching, wireless, and data center networking solutions in a hybrid setup with onsite days. Location options include Hyderabad, Bengaluru, NCR, and Chennai.

You will resolve complex escalations, design high-performance WLAN ecosystems, and write automation scripts to enhance efficiency while collaborating with global teams to ensure customer readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/EE or related field.
• 3–6 years of hands-on enterprise networking experience.
• 7–10+ years for senior/principal roles in data center routing and switching.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve L2/L3 escalations for enterprise and data center networks with RCA.
• Network Architecture: Design and optimize WLAN (Aruba Central) and data center infrastructures.
• Automation & Scripting: Write Python or shell scripts to improve network efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work with global support, TAC teams, and engineering for deployment readiness.

A Network Engineer - designs, troubleshoots, and supports enterprise-grade routing, switching, wireless, and data center networking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve complex L2/L3 escalations for enterprise and data center networks, performing root-cause analysis (RCA).
• Network Architecture: Design, configure, and optimize high-performance wireless ecosystems (WLAN/Aruba Central) and data center infrastructures.
• Automation & Scripting: Write automation scripts and tooling using Python or shell scripting to enhance network efficiency.
• Collaboration: Partner with global support, TAC teams, and engineering to test hardware/software and ensure customer deployment readiness.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Mid-level roles typically require 3-6 years of hands-on enterprise networking. Senior/Principal roles require 7-10+ years in data center routing, switching, and architecture.
• Core Technologies: Expertise in HPE/Aruba products (Aruba Central, WLAN, controllers) and Juniper/Cisco enterprise networking platforms (EX, QFX, MX series, ACI).
• Certifications: Industry credentials like CCNA, JNCIA, JNCIS, or JNCIE (Data Center, Mist AI, or Switching) .
