Job summary

C&S Electric seeks a Network Security Engineer to manage and secure the organization's network, security, endpoint, and identity infrastructure. You will configure firewall policies, VPNs, switches, APs, and data protection policies, while ensuring security across remote access and on-site networks.

The role involves incident response, patch management, EDR, PAM, DLP, and documentation, requiring strong networking knowledge and hands-on Fortinet experience.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Networking.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet or equivalent security solutions.
• Knowledge of ZTNA, MFA, IAM, PAM, DLP, MDM, EDR, and SIEM/Log Analysis.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet, Security+ or equivalent are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, secure, and troubleshoot the organization's network, security, endpoint, and identity infrastructure.
• Configure and manage firewall policies, NAT, VPN, security profiles, and web filtering.
• Configure switches, VLANs, trunk/access ports, and troubleshoot LAN connectivity.
• Manage Access Points through controllers.
• Manage VPN/ZTNA access and web/data security policies for remote users.
• Monitor and analyze firewall logs, security events, and generate reports.
• Manage OS and third-party patching and compliance reports through ITAM.
• Manage BYOD and corporate-owned devices and enforce security policies.
• Monitor and maintain endpoint security and respond to malware/security alerts.
• Manage privileged access and provide restricted access to critical servers.
• Configure and maintain data protection and data-loss prevention policies.
• Troubleshoot network/security incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate with vendors.
• Maintain network diagrams, configurations, security policies, and operational reports.

• Switching: Configure switches, VLANs, trunk/access ports, and troubleshoot LAN connectivity.
• Wireless/AP: Configure and manage Access Points through controllers.
• EMS/ZTNA: Manage VPN/ZTNA access and web/data security policies for remote users.
• Monitor and analyze firewall logs, security events, and generate reports.
• Patch Management: Manage OS and third-party application patching and compliance reports through ITAM.
• MDM: Manage BYOD and corporate-owned devices and enforce security policies.
• Antivirus/EDR: Monitor and maintain endpoint security and respond to malware/security alerts.
