Job summary

Lava International seeks an experienced Network Administrator to manage and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure in India. You will design, document, and optimize network systems, and provide 24x7 support for critical infrastructure, ensuring security controls and up-to-date asset management.

The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS, Nexus switches, VPNs, firewall controls, and network monitoring tools, with weekend maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• To Manage, Configure, and troubleshoot, Network Infrastructure.
• Providing - Network Support on 24*7 bases to Network Infrastructure.
• Responsible for managing Designs & documentation and manages an organizations Network infrastructure this includes recommending network hardware/new devices which meets an organizations IT requirements.
• Provides support to Help Desk for complex/major network problems.
• Maintains and supports all active network equipment.
• Managed software upgrades across all network devices platforms so as to remediate security vulnerabilities.
• Vastly works on improving the performance and stability of network by continually auditing network designs and configurations.
• Ensures all documentation/asset management/Inventory management is complete and updated.
• Implementing security controls and ensuring monthly/quarterly reviews of network components.
• Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems.
• Establishes network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, good put, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.
• Network Administrator Skills and Qualifications: Own and manage end to end data, Network Security and Wireless.
• Participate in weekend maintenance activities, as required.

Preferred candidate profile

• Well versed with Cisco ISE, Cisco Nexus, Fortinet, SonicWALL Firewalls, Radware link Loadbalancer,Cisco WLC, Cisco CUCM, Cisco routers & switches.
• Responsible for managing Network Routing and Switching, configuring, and troubleshooting EIGRP, OSPF, STP, VTP, HSRP, VRRP, Nexus switches,
• Responsible for managing, configuring, and troubleshooting Network security, VPN connectivity, SonicWALL firewall, Fortinet Firewall,
• Network Security - IPSec VPN, AAA Architecture, TACACS+, RADIUS.
• Cisco IOS Software and NX OS Software.
• Basic LAN configuration- Vlans, Trunks, Ether-channels, STP, SPAN, RSPAN, inter VLAN routing.
• Cisco Wireless LAN - 802.11b/g/n, 802.11 a/n and 802.11ac wireless implementations, configuration.
• Experience with Network documentation and monitoring tools such as Visio, SolarWinds, MRTG, PRTG, , ManageEngine NetFlow Analyzer and ManageEngine OP-Manager.
