Job summary

Eastsideworld in Bengaluru is seeking a talented Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure for performance, reliability, and security. The role requires hands‑on expertise across routing, switching, firewall, VoIP, and open‑source frameworks.

You will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure scalable, secure connectivity, monitor networks, troubleshoot issues, and document configurations while staying current with industry best practices and emerging

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in network engineering or related role.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, and VPN technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks equipment.
• Experience with Wireshark, SNMP, and NetFlow for monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; able to convey technical concepts clearly.

The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, & maintaining our organization's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, & security. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in networking technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently & collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, & wireless access points
• Implement network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, viruses, & other security threats
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime & reliability
• Perform network capacity planning & scalability assessments to support business growth & evolving technology needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design & implement network solutions that meet business requirements
• Document network configurations, procedures, & best practices for knowledge sharing & future reference
