Job summary

Trigent Software is seeking an experienced network engineering professional for Bengaluru. The role emphasizes hands-on lab setup, extensive TCP/IP and routing knowledge, and proficiency in troubleshooting WANs and security platforms.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in related fields, strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell), and hands-on experience with leading vendors (Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper). This on-site position requires working from the Bengaluru office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of relevant network engineering, system validation, test engineering, or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching, VLANs, NAT, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs, MPLS/WAN, and network performance analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, MikroTik, Fortinet, pfSense, Juniper, or equivalent platforms, together with managed switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Experience with Wireshark, packet capture analysis, Linux, connectivity troubleshooting, latency, packet loss, jitter, and log analysis.
• Ability to automate tests or simulations using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience establishing and managing physical labs and test environments.
• Ability to work in person from the Bengaluru office.

• AWS infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise network architecture, healthcare or medical-device experience.
• Experience supporting customer deployments and field investigations.
