Job summary

Exide Industries seeks a highly experienced Network & Network Security Champion to design, implement and manage complex enterprise networks. The role requires leadership of a dedicated SME team and hands-on delivery across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will drive security-focused network transformations, evaluate AI/ML-driven solutions, manage vendors and SLAs, and oversee vulnerability assessments and pentesting to fortify the organization’s network posture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience designing and managing complex networks.
• Strong expertise in network security and availability.
• Experience with Fortinet FortiGate, SD-WAN, and related security technologies.
• Experience leading a team of Network & Network Security SMEs.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale network transformation projects in manufacturing contexts.
• Evaluate, implement and manage AI/ML-driven network security solutions.
• Manage relevant vendors and SLAs.
• Handle vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for IT environments.

Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced, technically strong and hands-on Network & Network Security Champion with minimum 7 years of relevant experience and expertise in designing, implementing, managing complex network infrastructures and network security solutions. We prefer a candidate who is a subject matter expert in network security, network availability and network efficiency of the organization's network infrastructure while leading a team of Network & Network Security Subject Matter Experts.

Responsibilities :

• Lead large-scale network transformation projects preferably in a large manufacturing organization.
• Evaluate, implementing and manage AI/ML-driven network security solutions.
• Manage relevant vendors and SLAs.
• Handle audits, manage and simplify Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing for IT Environments.
• Network Architecture & Design: Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secured network infrastructure.
• Network Security Management: Implement and oversee network security policies, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security technologies to safeguard company networks.
• Infrastructure Operations: Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of network systems, including networks of on-premises data canters, cloud networks, and other on-premises environments.
• Incident Response & Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with Cyber Security Team for incident investigations, analyze security threats, and jointly develop mitigation strategies with a focus on secured network operations.
