Job summary

Vy Systems is seeking a senior Network & Security Engineer to lead a global team. You will design, implement, and support enterprise network and security solutions across regions, acting as the senior escalation point for complex incidents and outages. Coordinate global changes and ensure consistent security posture.

Lead initiatives across Cisco routing, switching, ISE, Fortinet FortiGate, and Cisco DNA Center. Strong governance, and collaboration with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise network and security (lead/senior) roles.
• Experience leading global teams and complex incidents.
• Strong expertise in Cisco, Fortinet, and Cisco DNA technologies.

Roles and Responsibility

Lead, mentor, and manage a global team of network and security engineers

Provide technical direction, standards, and best practices across regions

Act as the senior escalation point for complex global incidents and outages

Coordinate global changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities

Ensure consistent network and security posture across all locations

Network & Security Engineering:

Design, implement, and support enterprise network and security solutions

Lead troubleshooting of complex Layer 2 / Layer 3, firewall, and wirelessissues

Ensure designs align with security best practices, compliance, and business requirements

Cisco & Network Technologies:

Architect and support Cisco Routing & Switchingenvironments

Design and operate Cisco ISE(802.1X, MAB, Guest, Profiling, TrustSec)

Utilize Cisco DNA (Catalyst Center)for network design, provisioning, and assurance

Design and support enterprise wireless networks(Cisco WLC, RF optimization)

Security & Firewalls:

Design, deploy, and manage Fortinet FortiGate firewalls

Configure and support firewall policies, NAT, VPNs (IPsec / SSL), SD-WAN, and HA

Lead firewall audits, rulebase optimization, firmware upgrades, and security hardening.

Operations, Governance & Tools:

Oversee incident, problem, and change management for global network services

Participate in CAB and security review forums

Use network management, monitoring, and logging tools to ensure service health

Ensure documentation is standardized, audit-ready, and globally consistent

What Were Looking For:

Required Experience & Skills:

1014+ yearsof enterprise network and security experience

Proven experience in a senior or lead role managing global teams

Strong expertise in:

• Cisco Routing & Switching
• Cisco ISE
• Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls
• Cisco DNA (Catalyst Center)
• Enterprise Wireless (Cisco WLC)

Experience supporting business-critical, multi-region environments

Tools & Platforms:

• Network monitoring and management platforms
• FortiManager / FortiAnalyzer (preferred)
• ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
• Logging and SIEM platforms (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cisco CCNP or CCIE(Enterprise or Security)
• Fortinet NSEcertifications
• Cisco ISE or Security specialization
• Wireless certifications (Cisco or CWNP)
• Experience working in global, follow-the-sun operations models
