Job summary

Adler Talent Solutions in Mumbai seeks a Network Lead to design, implement and manage the organization’s network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security across corporate sites. The role provides technical leadership and governance for enterprise networks.

You will focus on routing, switching, firewalls, VPN and SD-WAN, plus monitoring, incident response, change management and audit readiness.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise network architecture (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/VPN)
• Lead deployment of routers, switches, firewalls, and SD-WAN solutions
• Ensure 24x7 availability and performance of network infrastructure
• Monitor network health, bandwidth, uptime, and incident resolution
• Ensure secure access, network security controls, and ISO 27001 ISMS compliance
• Participate in CAB reviews, risk assessments, and change management
• Mentor and lead network engineers; coordinate with Security, Infra, Applications, CoE
• Maintain network diagrams, configurations, SOPs, and audit evidence

Role & responsibilities

The Network Lead is responsible for design, implementation, management, and security of the organizations network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance with ISMS and organizational policies. This role provides technical leadership, governance, and operational oversight for enterprise networks across corporate and site locations.

Key Responsibilities

• A. Network Design & Implementation
  • Design and implement enterprise network architecture (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/VPN)
  • Ensure network architecture aligns with IT strategy and business objectives
  • Lead deployment of routers, switches, firewalls, and SD-WAN solutions
• B. Network Operations & Maintenance
  • Ensure 24x7 availability and performance of network infrastructure
  • Monitor network health, bandwidth utilization, and uptime
  • Manage troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis
  • Ensure smooth functioning of routers, switches, leased lines, etc
• C. Network Security & Compliance
  • Implement and enforce network security controls (firewalls, VLANs, access controls)
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 / ISMS policies and internal security guidelines
  • Monitor vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation actions
  • Ensure secure access (VPN, user access controls, segmentation policies)
• D. Change & Incident Management
  • Ensure adherence to Change Management process for all network changes
  • Participate in CAB reviews and risk assessments
  • Handle network-related incidents and escalations

• E. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
  • Manage network vendors, ISPs, and OEMs
  • Review SLAs and ensure service delivery compliance

  • Maintain updated documentation of:
  • Network diagrams
  • Configurations and asset inventory
  • SOPs and runbooks
  • Support internal/external audits (ISO/ISMS) with evidence and compliance
• G. Team Leadership
  • Lead and mentor network engineers
  • Allocate tasks and monitor performance
  • Ensure skill development and training of team

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of:
  • Routing & Switching (Cisco/Juniper/Aruba etc.)
  • Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, etc.)
  • VPN, SD-WAN, MPLS
  • Network Monitoring tools (Opmanager/SolarWinds etc.)
• Understanding of:
  • Network security architecture
  • VLANs, segmentation, DMZ design
  • High availability & redundancy
  • Process & Compliance Skills
• Knowledge of:
  • ISO 27001 / ISMS frameworks
