You will model bearings, shafts, gears, and flexible bodies to support design decisions with simulation-based recommendations. You will collaborate across simulation, testing, and product development teams to advance electrified drive systems using Simpack and 3DEXPERIENCE tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• Experience with model validation and FEM.
• Fluent English; German language skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of Python or MATLAB for scripting and data analysis.

Role

Support design decisions by providing (mechanics) simulation-based recommendations throughout the product development process for electric drivetrains.

Modelling of bearings, shafts, gear systems, connections, flexible bodies, and dynamic excitations. - Experience in model validation; knowledge of FEM, flexible-body integration, Python or MATLAB, and 3DEXPERIENCE is beneficial. Fluent English and strong communication skills, combined with an independent, self-motivated, and solution-oriented way of working.
