Job summary

Euler Motors is hiring for an embedded software engineer to develop and maintain firmware for automotive and EV applications. The role requires hands-on RTOS experience, CAN/CAN-FD and sensor interfaces, plus BMS firmware expertise and battery algorithm development.

You will work with STM32/NXP MCUs, low-level drivers, and debugging tools to ensure robust software across battery and power electronics systems.

Qualifications

• Embedded software/firmware for automotive/EV applications.
• Hands-on RTOS experience with FreeRTOS/ThreadX/Zephyr.
• Strong knowledge of CAN/CAN-FD, I2C, SPI, Iso-SPI, UART and RS485.
• Experience in BMS firmware and battery monitoring.
• Develop and implement battery algorithms for SOC, SOH, SOP, cell balancing, fault detection and protection.
• Experience with Lithium-ion/LFP battery cells and ECM models.
• Familiarity with STM32/NXP microcontrollers, peripherals, interrupts, DMA and memory management.
• Experience in low-level device drivers and HAL development.
• Hands-on experience with ADC, sensors, EEPROM, Flash memory and battery monitoring ICs.
• Strong debugging skills (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, protocol analyzer).
• Familiarity with Git, unit testing, integration testing, SIL/HIL and automated testing.
• Knowledge of MISRA-C, secure coding and software architecture.
• Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink and Model-Based Design.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to software architecture and code quality using MISRA-C guidelines.
• Debug and validate software on hardware using oscilloscopes and analyzers.

• Experience in developing safety-related software documentation and traceability.

Education: B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science or related engineering discipline.
