Job summary

TekPillar in Bangalore is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer for automotive ECUs with 3-8 years of hands-on experience in embedded firmware development, real-time systems, and automotive diagnostics.

You will design and validate firmware, develop drivers for CAN/UART/SPI/I2C/Ethernet, use FreeRTOS, work with Python scripts for test automation, and collaborate with hardware teams during bring-up and fault injection initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of embedded firmware development and validation.
• Strong Embedded C/C++ and FreeRTOS/RTOS experience.
• Hands-on experience with ARM Cortex-M, CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet.
• Experience in driver development, hardware bring-up, debugging, and firmware integration.
• Knowledge of UDS, DTC, POST/BIST, fault injection, and regression testing.
• Strong Python skills for test automation and validation.
• Experience with Embedded Linux/Kernel and automotive embedded systems.

Responsibilities
