Job summary

Rarr Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer for automotive domain projects. You will contribute to design and development in embedded C, AUTOSAR and RTOS, and work with CAN/LIN/Flexray/UDS/KWP protocols across vehicle ECUs.

The role involves customer requirement analysis, release milestone planning, and technical ownership, coordinating with platform and customer teams to ensure timely content delivery and robust software quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive embedded software development.
• Strong knowledge of CAN/LIN/FlexRay/UDS/KWP protocols.
• Hands-on with AUTOSAR Run Time Environment and Port configuration.

Job description

• Automotive domain and powertrain systems knowledge
• Customer specific requirement analysis, release milestone planning and negotiations with Customer/Platform for content timing.
• Design open points clarifications and agreement with Customer
• Strong development experience in embedded C , AUTOSAR and RTOS
• Embedded development tools and methodologies
• Should have detailed knowledge on microcontrollers / microprocessors
• Strong development experience in CAN / LIN /Flexray / UDS / KWP, SPI communication protocols
• Knowledge on emulated EEPROM, Multi core concept, Memory Management, Fault diagnosis embedded OS in ECM
• Knowledge on AUTOSAR Run Time Environment and Port configuration
• Experience in configuration management - SDOM /GIT and requirement management tools - RQ1 / JRS
• Knowledge on software build tool chain including compiler / linker optimization settings
• Experience of preparation of virtualized SW ( vECU , vVeh)
• Knowledge in tools like INCA, CANalyser / CANoe, CANDiva, CANstress, CANDELA studio, Lauterbach
• Experience in using tools like Logiscope / Function Generator / Oscilloscope, etc
• Experience in system level validation in closed loop HIL/ SIL - Basic Function Test , IO test , Mem Test etc
• Key technical contact between Project team and Customer platform/Functional teams
• Demonstrate technical ownership, effectively communicate with all the stakeholders to ensure overall success of a SW feature
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
