Job summary

PAGE Industries, Inc. seeks a Data Governance/Data Quality specialist to maintain master data integrity in SAP and JDA, conduct data cleaning, and resolve data mismatches across systems.

The role partners with SMEs and data-entry operators to implement data strategy and ensure security and accuracy of enterprise data. Responsibilities include process development, data quality improvements, and collaboration with business/IT to align data rules with system operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Good PLSQL script experience.
• Exposure to SAP data and business solutions software.
• Experience with information security practices and security software packages.

Responsibilities

• Ensures master data integrity in SAP and JDA across systems and processes.
• Performs data cleaning to remove old, unused, or duplicate data for better access.
• Researches data mismatches between SAP and JDA and coordinates with teams to correct them.
• Identifies data quality improvement areas and applies error detection and process improvements.
• Develops and documents processes with data owners to support data integrity and security.
• Defines and implements data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and security.
• Collaborates with SMEs and data-entry to resolve data quality issues and meet requirements.
• Works with business/IT to align master data rules with application operations.
• Translates business requirements into data warehouse designs to meet needs.
• Provides data consulting to improve client database systems.

Role & responsibilities

• Ensures master data integrity in key systems (SAP and JDA) as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality.
• Conducts data cleaning to get rid the system of old, unused data, or duplicate data for better management and quicker access.
• In case of Data mismatch between two systems (SAP and JDA) he must research, coordinates with different team and systems from integration point of view to ensure data correction done.
• Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.
• Ensures quality of master data in key systems (SAP and JDA), as well as development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity.
• In collaboration with subject matter experts and data entry operators, defines and implements data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.
• Resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data entry operators.
• Manages, analyses, and resolves data initiative issues and manages revisions needed to best meet internal and customer requirements while adhering to published data standards.
• Work closely with the business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements.
• Develops and implements strategies to translate business requirements and models into feasible and acceptable data warehouse designs to ensure that business needs are met.
• Provides data consulting in support of business and information technology initiatives to clients to improve client database systems.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience working with information security practices and available security software packages.

Experience working with LSMW

Functional/Technical Knowledge & Skills:

Good PLSQL script experience.

Exposure to SAP data and business solutions software skills.

Good communication skills to communicate with customers, team members, external data providers, and management.
