Metrinch Engineering Solutions LLP in Chennai is seeking a skilled mold design engineer to develop 3D layouts and complete assembly designs for plastic injection molds, from multi-cavity tools to large automotive molds.

You will drive advanced mechanism development, perform DFM reviews to identify part defects, ensure compliance with client standards (NA mold design standards preferred), and leverage software like Cimatron to deliver high-quality tooling solutions.

End-to-End Mold Design: Create 3D layouts, complete assembly designs for plastic injection molds (ranging from multi-cavity precision tools to large-size automotive molds).

Advanced Mechanism Development: Design complex mold mechanisms, including intricate slider movements, lifters, multi-stage ejection systems, and hot runner system integration

DFM & Feasibility Reviews: Conduct thorough Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analyses, identifying potential part defects

Global Standards Compliance: Ensure all mold designs strictly adhere to client-specific tool build standards, It is preferable if you are familiar with North American mold design standards.

Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in dedicated tool design software like Cimatron is highly preferred.
