Job summary

Aon’s Global Capability Center in Bengaluru (GCC India) is seeking a Motor Claims Handler to support the Benelux claims handling department within an international setup.

You will enter FNOL data, forward claims emails, and dispatch cases to the dedicated handler while ensuring accurate claim statements and client approvals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of solid and relevant experience in claims handling, preferably motor claims.
• Strong understanding of motor insurance and ability to interpret statements, police reports, and determine liability.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic, dynamic, ambitious and able to work under pressure.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Enter FNOL data in system and open the claim case.
• Forward claims-related emails to emailbox.
• Dispatch cases to the dedicated claims handler.
• Claim statement agreement process and carrier communication.
• Forward communication to the Belgian claims handler.
• Upload the statement of claim.
• Claim statement – client approval process for simple claims: review the claim statement.
• Notify the advocacy team in case of disagreement.
• If the client agrees, update the claim status in the system.
• Pay invoices for certain account handlers.
• Collect invoices to process/send the VAT information.
• Enter third-party disbursements for account handlers based on insurers’ letters.
• Enter insurer/company reference numbers in the files.

Motor Claims Handler

Location: GCC India : Bangalore

Role Summary

The Motor Claims Handler is part of Aon’s Global Capability Center (GCC) in India and supports the Fleet Automotive Benelux Claims Handling department.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter FNOL data in system and open the claim case
• Forward claims-related emails to emailbox
• Dispatch cases to the dedicated claims handler.
• Claim statement agreement process:
• Send an email to the carrier.
• Forward communication to the Belgian claims handler.
• Upload the statement of claim.
• Claim statement – client approval process for simple claims:
• Review the claim statement.
• Notify the advocacy team in case of disagreement.
• If the client agrees, update the claim status in the system.
• Pay invoices for certain account handlers.
• Collect invoices to process/send the VAT information.
• Enter third-party disbursements for account handlers based on insurers’ letters.
• Enter insurer/company reference numbers in the files.

You can demonstrate at least 2+ years of solid and relevant experience claims handling, preferably in motor claims

Good understanding of motor insurance: ability to interpret the accident statement forms, police reports, ability to summarize the circumstances of the accident in the client’s official language and to determine liability, ability to identify which coverages apply to each type of accident or claim

You have excellent interpersonal skills

You are enthusiastic, dynamic, ambitious and able to work well under pressure.

Good knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Good command or ability to work with central IT systems
