Job summary

Shashwath Solution is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Developer specialized in Zephyr RTOS to design, develop, and maintain BIOS and firmware for next-generation embedded and industrial control products.

You will implement features, fix defects, and address security vulnerabilities while delivering high-performance, secure firmware for real-time, resource-constrained environments. Collaboration with hardware and software teams throughout the lifecycle is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, embedded systems, or related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in embedded software or firmware development.
• Strong understanding of RTOS concepts, embedded architectures, and low-level software development.
• Experience implementing cybersecurity features and secure software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIOS and embedded software solutions using Zephyr RTOS.
• Design, implement, and enhance software features while addressing defects and security vulnerabilities.
• Develop embedded applications using C/C++ for real-time and resource-constrained environments.
• Work on PLC programming and integration with embedded control systems.
• Develop and maintain low-level software components, device drivers, and BSPs.
• Implement secure firmware capabilities, including Secure Boot, cryptographic functions, and security remediation measures.
• Integrate and troubleshoot communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, Ethernet, and related industrial networking technologies.
• Support automated build, testing, and deployment processes using CI/CD and version control systems.
• Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and system validation activities.
