YASH Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Embedded Software Developer focused on Zephyr RTOS/BIOS to design, develop, and maintain secure firmware for industrial control products.

You will implement features, fix defects, and work across hardware, firmware, and software teams. The role demands 6-10 years of hands-on embedded experience, strong C/C++ skills, and expertise in RTOS concepts, device drivers, and security remediation for real-time, resource-constrained environments.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or related field.
• 6-10 years of embedded software or firmware development experience.
• Strong knowledge of RTOS concepts, embedded architectures, and low-level software development.
• Experience with cybersecurity features and secure software development practices.
• Familiarity with IEC 62443, EN 18031, CRA desirable; CI/CD and automated testing familiarity.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Developer – Zephyr RTOS / BIOS to design, develop, and maintain BIOS and embedded software solutions built on the Zephyr Real-Time Operating System (RTOS). The role involves implementing new features, resolving defects and security vulnerabilities, and delivering secure, high-performance firmware for next-generation embedded and industrial control products.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain BIOS and embedded software solutions using Zephyr RTOS.
• Design, implement, and enhance software features while addressing defects and security vulnerabilities.
• Develop embedded applications using C/C++ for real-time and resource-constrained environments.
• Work on PLC programming and integration with embedded control systems.
• Develop and maintain low-level software components, device drivers, and board support packages (BSPs).
• Implement secure firmware capabilities, including Secure Boot, cryptographic functions, and security remediation measures.
• Integrate and troubleshoot communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, Ethernet, and related industrial networking technologies.
• Support automated build, testing, and deployment processes using CI/CD and version control systems.
• Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and system validation activities.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams throughout the product lifecycle.
