Job summary

YASH Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Developer with Zephyr RTOS expertise to design, develop, and maintain BIOS and firmware for next-generation industrial products.

You will implement new features, fix defects, and ensure secure, high-performance firmware for real-time systems. The role requires strong C/C++ skills, hands-on experience with embedded architectures, and collaboration across hardware and software teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience with Zephyr RTOS and embedded firmware development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for real-time, resource-constrained environments.
• Knowledge of BIOS/firmware development and device drivers.
• Understanding of RTOS concepts and embedded architectures.
• Exposure to PLC programming and industrial controls.
• Familiarity with secure boot, cryptography, and cyber security practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Ability to debug, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize performance.
• Experience with Modbus, BACnet, Ethernet or similar industrial protocols.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Developer – Zephyr RTOS / BIOS to design, develop, and maintain BIOS and embedded software solutions built on the Zephyr Real-Time Operating System (RTOS). The role involves implementing new features, resolving defects and security vulnerabilities, and delivering secure, high-performance firmware for next-generation embedded and industrial control products.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain BIOS and embedded software solutions using Zephyr RTOS.


• Design, implement, and enhance software features while addressing defects and security vulnerabilities.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern development workflows.


• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
