Qualifications

• 8+ years of Android development experience with a focus on Kotlin.
• Expert in Kotlin, Coroutines, and Kotlin Flows.
• Experience with MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Proficient with WorkManager, Navigation Component, Hilt, Room and Retrofit.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Hands-on unit testing with Mockito and JUnit; 80%+ code coverage.
• Strong Git skills; experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of Android Jetpack components and lifecycle.
• Write testable, clean, maintainable code.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and local data persistence.

Role & responsibilities

Minimum 8 years of experience in Android development, with a strong emphasis on Kotlin.

• Expert-level knowledge of:

Kotlin, Coroutines, and Kotlin Flows

MVVM architectural pattern and Clean Architecture

WorkManager, Navigation Component, Hilt (DI), Room, and Retrofit

• Strong understanding and practical application of SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Strong experience with unit testing using Mockito, Junit, keeping above 80% code coverage
• Solid knowledge of Git and experience with CI/CD tools and pipellines
• Deep understanding of Android Jetpack components and the Android lifecycle.
• Proficient in writing testable, clean, and maintainable code.
• Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs and managing local data persistence.
