Qualifications

• Design and develop high-quality Android applications using Kotlin

• Implement unit tests to ensure the reliability and stability of our applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help to improve our development processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues.
• Stay up to date with the latest android technologies and trends.
• Participate in the CI/CD process, ensuring smooth and efficient releases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in developing Android apps with a history of launching successful projects
• Understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, object-oriented-programming (OOP), frameworks and technologies
• Strong communication skills (oral, verbal and listening) as well as the ability to influence the broader engineering team and understand their points of view
• Kotlin and Java programming skills
• Understanding of the Android SDK and Performance monitoring tools
• Experience developing and delivering using Agile methodologies
• Partner with product, design, QA and fellow engineers to determine the best way to meet business requirements
• Review code for others on the team and provide thoughtful feedback
• Proactively monitor and improve the technical performance of the app
