Job summary

Cloudxtreme is seeking an accomplished Android developer with 8+ years of experience and a strong focus on Kotlin. You will build high-quality apps using MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Android Jetpack, while integrating REST APIs and managing local data persistence.

You will write testable code, participate in CI/CD processes, and ensure robust design patterns and SOLID principles are applied. Experience with DI via Hilt and modern testing is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Android development experience with strong Kotlin emphasis.
• Proficient in MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Hands-on with WorkManager, Navigation Component, Hilt, Room, Retrofit.
• Solid understanding of SOLID and design patterns.
• Experience with unit testing using Mockito and JUnit with high coverage.

Role & responsibilities

Minimum 8 years of experience in Android development, with a strong emphasis on Kotlin.

• Expert-level knowledge of:

Kotlin, Coroutines, and Kotlin Flows

MVVM architectural pattern and Clean Architecture

WorkManager, Navigation Component, Hilt (DI), Room, and Retrofit

• Strong understanding and practical application of SOLID principles and design patterns.

• Strong experience with unit testing using Mockito, Junit, keeping above 80% code coverage

• Solid knowledge of Git and experience with CI/CD tools and pipellines

• Deep understanding of Android Jetpack components and the Android lifecycle.

• Proficient in writing testable, clean, and maintainable code.

• Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs and managing local data persistence.
