Job summary

Cloudxtreme in Chennai, India seeks an expert Android developer with 8+ years of hands-on Kotlin experience to build scalable mobile apps using modern architectures and Jetpack components. You will contribute to design, implementation, and optimization of complex features end-to-end.

Expect deep knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, WorkManager, Retrofit, Room, and DI with Hilt, plus a strong emphasis on testability and high code quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Android development, with a strong emphasis on Kotlin.
• Expert-level knowledge of Kotlin, Coroutines and Kotlin Flows.
• Proficient in MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Experience with WorkManager, Navigation Component, Hilt (DI), Room, and Retrofit.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Experience with unit testing (Mockito, JUnit) and code coverage above 80%.
• Solid knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of Android Jetpack components and the Android lifecycle.
• Write testable, clean, maintainable code; RESTful API integration and local data persistence.
