Job summary

RGBSI in Chennai seeks a Mitsubishi PLC Controls & Automation Engineering Specialist with 3-5 years hands-on experience. You will handle Mitsubishi Q/R/FXU PLCs and HMI programming, GX Works proficiency is mandatory, and you’ll work with Ethernet IE and CC-Link networks.

Drive parameterization across Mitsubishi, DANFOSS and SEW VFDs, plus robot and conveyor integrations. You’ll create PLC programs and HMI screens, interlock with VFDs, troubleshoot, install and commission robotic cells and

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Mitsubishi Q Series, R Series & FXU Series PLC & HMI programming.
• GX Works platform usage is mandatory.
• Experience in field communication Ethernet IE, CC-Link desirable.
• Mitsubishi, DANFOSS, SEW VFD drives - parameterization and interfacing with PLC and VFDs.
• New programs creation in PLC and new screens in HMI, linking tags and I/Os.
• Interlock with VFDs for Mitsubishi and SEW units; trouble shooting.
• Experience with KUKA robot programming, troubleshooting, installation and commissioning is a plus.
• Robot roller hemming cells, sealer application robots, and material handling equipment programs & troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Develop new PLC programs and HMI screens; link tags and I/Os.
• Parameterize and commission Mitsubishi and other drives; troubleshoot field issues.
• Integrate robots and conveyors with PLC logic and interlocks.
• Support EMS and material transfer systems in body, paint, and GA shop.
