Job summary

gramsathi is seeking a MIS Analyst to develop and maintain operational analyses and scorecards, reporting metrics to management, and supporting MIS systems. The role emphasizes data interpretation, forecasting support, and cross-functional collaboration to improve efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have analytic experience, strong data skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects while communicating effectively with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or related field; master’s preferred.
• Analytical experience is required and data analysis skills are essential.
• Ability to analyse raw data, draw conclusions and make actionable recommendations.
• Strong business decision-making ability.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Clear communication with people from varying technical/business backgrounds.
• 1-3 years of MIS experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly operational analysis as it relates to volume, efficiencies, cycle time, quality, and service.


• Report on operational metrics, conduct data and business analysis, and present summary of findings to management in a clear, concise, convincing, and actionable format.


• Create and maintain daily operational scorecards to track and report on KPIs; assist in volume forecast and capacity planning as needed.


• Provide support and maintenance to existing management information systems (MIS).


• Generate and distribute management reports in accurate and timely manner.


• Provide strong reporting and analytical information support to management team.


• Understand customer problems and provide appropriate technical solutions.


• Analyse business information to identify process improvements for increasing business efficiency and effectiveness.


• Establish a strong relationship with Team Managers and management through a demonstration of industry knowledge and of the business issues at hand


• Analyse current business processes and make recommendations for improvements


• Maintain thorough understanding of data and information resources


• Maintain a status on all projects and proactively communicate with management and customers.

Qualification

Mandatory Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred


• Analytical experience required


• Strong ability to analyse raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations


• Sound business decision-making ability


• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously


• Ability to communicate with people of various technical and business backgrounds


• 1-3 years of experience in the MIS prior role preferred.
