Role Summary:

The MIS Coordinator/Executive will support the Sales team through effective sales data management, business reporting, order tracking, and performance analysis. The role will ensure accurate and timely MIS reporting, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions and improve operational efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• MIS & Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales MIS reports covering sales performance, targets versus achievements, order bookings, billing, and pending orders.
• Sales Performance Tracking: Monitor sales, customer-wise performance, product-wise sales, and regional business trends to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Order Management: Track customer orders from order placement to dispatch and billing, ensuring timely updates on order status, pending deliveries, and backlogs.
• Data Management: Maintain and update customer databases, product master data, pricing details, sales records, and order trackers with a high degree of accuracy.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams to resolve order-related issues, track deliveries, monitor billing, and ensure smooth execution.
• Business Analysis: Analyse sales trends, customer performance, product movement, and outstanding orders to generate meaningful insights for the Institutional Sales team.
• Process Improvement: Standardise reporting formats, automate repetitive reports wherever possible, and improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency.
• Management Support: Provide timely reports, dashboards, and data inputs for business reviews, sales planning, and management presentations.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in MIS, sales coordination, sales operations, or business reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis; knowledge of Power BI and SAP/ERP systems will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and data management skills with attention to detail.
• Good coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting institutional sales, B2B sales, or distribution-led businesses will be preferred.
