Job summary

Bonito Designs is seeking a MIS & Reporting professional to prepare and maintain daily to quarterly MIS reports, consolidate data, and publish performance insights for stakeholders. A 1–3 year track record in MIS, reporting or sales operations is preferred, with strong Excel and data visualization skills.

The role involves coordinating with Sales, Operations and Finance, maintaining dashboards, and ensuring data quality. MBA/PGDM is an added advantage for career growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• 1–3 years of experience in MIS, reporting, business analysis, sales operations, or a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly MIS reports covering sales, business performance, productivity, quality, and other metrics.
• Consolidate data from multiple sources and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Maintain and update MIS trackers, dashboards, and reporting templates.
• Monitor business performance against defined targets and highlight deviations.
• Publish regular performance reports to stakeholders within defined timelines.
• Analyse sales and operational data to identify trends, gaps, anomalies, and performance issues.
• Prepare variance analysis comparing actual performance against targets, budgets, or previous periods.
• Generate insights from data to support decision-making.
• Track KPIs at centre, team, and employee levels.
• Support management with ad-hoc reports and analysis.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based reports, trackers, dashboards, and analytical models.
• Use advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, IF, Pivot Tables/Charts).
• Automate repetitive reporting activities; maintain data structures and templates.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Finance to collect/validate data.
• Prepare periodic management reports and presentations highlighting trends and observations.
• Experience with Metabase or similar BI/reporting tools is an added advantage.

Data Analysis & Insights

• Analyse sales and operational data to identify trends, gaps, anomalies, and performance issues.
• Prepare variance analysis comparing actual performance against targets, budgets, or previous periods.
• Generate meaningful insights from data to support business and operational decision-making.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) at centre, team, and employee levels.
• Support management with ad-hoc reports and analysis as required.

Excel & Dashboard Management

• Develop and maintain Excel-based reports, trackers, dashboards, and analytical models.
• Use advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, IF functions, Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, and data validation.
• Clean, format, and organize large datasets for reporting and analysis.
• Automate repetitive reporting activities wherever possible using Excel.
• Maintain data structures and templates to improve reporting efficiency.

Data Quality & Process Management

• Conduct regular checks and audits to ensure the accuracy and authenticity of business data.
• Identify discrepancies in source data and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
• Maintain proper documentation of reporting formats, data sources, and MIS processes.
• Ensure adherence to reporting timelines and defined SOPs.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve and simplify MIS processes.

Business Coordination

• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Finance, and other relevant teams to collect and validate data.
• Follow up with stakeholders for missing or inaccurate information.
• Support business teams with relevant data and reports for reviews and decision-making.
• Prepare periodic management reports and presentations highlighting key performance trends and observations.

Metabase / BI Reporting Added Advantage

• Experience with Metabase or similar BI/reporting tools will be an added advantage.
• Ability to create basic dashboards, reports, filters, and data visualizations.
• Understanding of SQL and working with databases will be a plus.
• Support the team in migrating manual Excel-based reports to automated dashboards where required.
