Job summary

Mindtel is a fast-scaling BI firm in India seeking a data-driven analyst to design and maintain automated MIS reports and executive dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and SQL. You will transform data from ERP/CRM/HRMS into clear visuals and actionable KPIs for leadership.

Role emphasizes data quality, validation, and fast, data-driven storytelling to help Finance, Sales, and Operations drive smarter decisions across the business.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience designing and delivering automated MIS reports and dashboards.
• Proficient in Excel, Power BI, SQL, and data visualization best practices.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally) and data validation.
• Knowledge of ETL concepts and data quality assurance.
• Familiarity with Google Data Studio or Looker.
• Nice to have Python (Pandas/NumPy) and Power Automate/VBA.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated MIS reports and executive dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and SQL-based data sources.
• Extract, clean, and validate data from ERP, CRM, HRMS for accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Operations to define KPIs and SLAs.
• Identify data quality issues and implement validation rules to improve reliability.
• Automate recurring reports using Macros, VBA, or Power Automate.
• Present insights through data storytelling and dashboards to influence strategy.

About the Opportunity

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated MIS reports and executive dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and SQL-based data sources.
• Extract, clean, and validate data from multiple internal systems (ERP, CRM, HRMS) to ensure accuracy and consistency for reporting.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, and Operations to define key metrics, KPIs, and SLAs that align with business goals.
• Identify data quality issues, recommend fixes, and implement validation rules to improve reporting reliability.
• Automate recurring reports using Macros, VBA, or Power Automate to reduce manual effort and improve timeliness.
• Present insights to stakeholders through clear, data-driven presentations and visual storyboards that influence strategy.
