Job summary

Novomine is seeking a qualified mining professional to prepare and monitor mining plans, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will design layouts based on geological data to achieve production goals and stay current with MMDR Act provisions.

You will also develop environmental plans for five years, oversee reclamation and mine closure programs, and lead safety planning for the team, guiding project success from planning through execution.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have prepared at least 3 Mining Plans/Project Reports.
• Monitored 3 Mining Plans or audits or combination totaling three activities.
• Experience with data accuracy and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Mining Plans in accordance with guidelines and procedures, ensuring data accuracy.
• Design future mine layouts to meet production and development objectives based on geology.
• Knowledge of the MMDR Act, rules, regulations, and amendments.
• Manage topography, mine geology, reserve calculations, blasting parameters, and drainage.
• Develop Environmental Management Plans detailing impacts for the next five years.
• Oversee land reclamation, environmental monitoring, mine closure, and Rehab & Resettlement plans.
• Lead safety planning and accident analysis, guiding the team.

Role & responsibilities

• Specific Experience: Candidates must have prepared at least 3 Mining Plans/Project Reports, monitored 3 Mining Plans (such as pre-feasibility/feasibility reports or audits), or completed a combination totaling three of these activities.
• Technical Proficiency: Must be proficient in MS Office, CAD, ArcGIS, Modelling Software (Minex, DataMine, etc), Data Processing Tools, and Geological Modelling Tools.

• Prepare Mining Plans in accordance with Central Government guidelines, approved standards, and procedures, taking full responsibility for data accuracy.
• Design future mine layouts to achieve production and development objectives based on the geological characteristics of the mineral resource.
• Possess a thorough knowledge of the MMDR Act, rules, regulations, and all related amendments.
• Manage detailed topography, mine geology, recoverable reserve calculations, blasting parameters, and mine drainage.
• Develop comprehensive Environmental Management Plans detailing impacts on the water regime, biodiversity, air quality, noise levels, and socio-economic factors for the next five years.
• Oversee year-wise land reclamation proposals, environmental monitoring schedules, mine closure plans, and Rehabilitation & Resettlement plans.
• Lead safety planning, accident analysis, and expertly select and guide team members.
