Blue metal Mine Production Foreman Responsibilities & Duties

• Supervise and lead a team of miners and production staff
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, as well as company safety policies
• Implement and maintain effective production systems and processes
• Coordinate with other departments, such as engineering and maintenance, to optimize production and minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate production records and reports
• Provide training and support to team members to develop their skills and improve performance
• Identify and implement improvements to production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Conduct regular safety inspections and address any issues promptly

Mine Production Foreman Qualifications & Skills

• Master's degree in mining engineering
• Experience in a leadership role in a unionized environment
• Certification in mine safety
• Bachelor's degree in mining engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in blue metal mining production, including experience leading a team
• Strong knowledge of federal and state mining regulations, as well as company safety policies
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
