Job summary

People Source is seeking a senior leader to oversee aluminum extrusion operations, driving productivity, quality, and safety across die design, manufacturing, and shopfloor management.

You will ensure ISO 9001/14001 compliance, optimize yield and scrap reduction, align with sales and S&OP, and mentor engineering and production teams. Minimum 12–15 years in aluminum extrusion or die manufacturing with strong English skills is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Materials, or Production Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize aluminum extrusion operations for quality, cost, and safety.
• Lead die design, manufacturing, correction, and inventory management to reduce trials and lead time.
• Optimize extrusion, casting, billet quality, yield, recovery, press utilization, and scrap reduction.
• Ensure ISO 9001/14001 compliance and environmental objectives.
• Drive shopfloor management, manpower utilization, and productivity.
• Align production capabilities with sales, S&OP, and changing customer requirements.
• Develop engineers and production building teams.

Role & responsibilities

To Oversee and optimize aluminum extrusion operations to ensure efficient production, consistent product quality, equipment reliability, safety compliance, and continuous process improvem

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Production Excellence

• Lead die design, manufacturing, correction, and inventory management to reduce

trials and lead time.

• Optimize extrusion, casting, billet quality, yield, recovery, press utilization, and

scrap reduction.

• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and environmental objectives,

including waste, dross, energy, and CO

Shopfloor & Operations Manage

• Lead permanent, contract, and technical teams for effective manpower utilization

and productivity.

• Maintain strong industrial relations and compliance with the Factories Act and

statutory requirements.

• Drive a strong Safety

Strategic & Cross

• Align production capabilities with sales, S&OP, and changing customer

requirements.

4. Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Materials, or Production

Engineering.

• 1215 years of experience in Aluminum Extrusion, Casting, or Die

Manufacturing.

• Minimum 5 years in a senior manufacturing leadership role.
• Strong expertise in die design/correction, extrusion optimization, and shopfloor

management.

• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong alignment with YKKs "Cycle of Goodness" philosophy and change

leadership.

5. Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ISO 9001/14001 audits and Pollution Control Board

compliance.

• MNC/international JV experience.
