Job summary

Ecube Windoors Pvt Ltd in Tamil Nadu, Chennai district, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead the manufacturing of UPVC windows, doors and aluminium fabrication products. You will plan, monitor, and optimize production processes to meet targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.

The role requires strong knowledge of UPVC/aluminium fabrication, reading technical drawings, production planning, and safety practices, with a focus on lean processes and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in UPVC/Aluminium window manufacturing or fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Strong knowledge of production planning and manpower management.
• Knowledge of quality control and inspection procedures.
• Understanding of safety standards and 5S practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily and monthly production activities based on project requirements.
• Manage the complete production process for UPVC windows, doors, and aluminium products.
• Supervise production workers and allocate manpower according to workload.
• Monitor production progress and ensure targets are achieved within the planned schedule.
• Ensure products are manufactured according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Project teams for smooth production.
• Monitor material availability and minimize material wastage.
• Identify production issues and take corrective actions to avoid delays and rework.
• Maintain production records and daily reports.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Implement safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor rejection, rework, wastage, and productivity and take improvement measures.
• Train and guide production team members to improve productivity and quality.

Job Summary

Responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring the production of UPVC windows, doors, and aluminium fabrication products. The role involves ensuring production targets, quality standards, material availability, manpower utilization, and timely delivery are achieved efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily and monthly production activities based on project requirements.
• Manage the complete production process for UPVC windows, doors, and aluminium products.
• Supervise production workers and allocate manpower according to workload.
• Monitor production progress and ensure targets are achieved within the planned schedule.
• Ensure products are manufactured according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with the Design, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Project teams for smooth production.
• Monitor raw material availability and minimize material wastage.
• Check dimensions, cutting, fabrication, assembly, hardware fixing, and finishing activities.
• Identify production issues and take corrective actions to avoid delays and rework.
• Maintain production records, daily production reports, and manpower reports.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Implement safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor rejection, rework, wastage, and productivity and take necessary improvement measures.
• Ensure finished products are properly inspected and ready for dispatch/installation.
• Train and guide production team members to improve productivity and quality.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of UPVC window and door manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of aluminium window, door, and fabrication processes.
• Understanding of cutting, fabrication, welding, assembly, glazing, and hardware installation.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and measurements.
• Knowledge of production planning and manpower management.
• Good understanding of quality control and inspection procedures.
• Ability to control material wastage and improve productivity.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.
• Ability to manage production teams and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and 5S practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple production activities.

Preferred Experience

• 37 years of experience in UPVC / Aluminium window and door manufacturing or fabrication.
• Experience in production planning and team handling will be preferred.
• Candidates with experience in window/door fabrication companies, aluminium fabrication, or building materials manufacturing are preferred.
