Job summary

Infosys Limited in Pune is seeking a Middleware/Mainframe/MQ Admin with 4-7 years of experience to provide L1/L2 support for z/OS, TSO/ISPF, and middleware services.

The role requires knowledge of JCL, batch processing, and basic administration of WebSphere, JBoss, or MQ. You will monitor systems, handle incidents, and maintain runbooks while following ITIL practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology required (BE/BTech).
• Familiarity with Mainframe concepts and basic middleware experience.
• Understanding of batch processing, job monitoring and ITIL practices.
• Experience with log analysis and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 support for Mainframe systems (z/OS, TSO/ISPF) and middleware platforms.
• Monitor system performance, handle alerts, incidents, and service requests.
• Perform basic job monitoring, scheduling, and batch support (JCL).
• Support middleware tools like WebSphere, JBoss, or MQ (basic admin tasks).
• Follow ITIL processes (incident, change, request management) and maintain runbooks.

Responsibilities

Provide L1/L2 support for Mainframe systems (z/OS, TSO/ISPF) and/or middleware platforms.Monitor system performance and handle alerts, incidents, and service requests.Perform basic job monitoring, scheduling, and batch support (JCL).Support middleware tools like WebSphere, JBoss, or MQ (basic admin tasks).Assist in user access management and security compliance.Support restart activities, log checks, and issue troubleshooting.Follow ITIL processes (incident, change, request management).Maintain documentation and operational runbooks.

Technical and Professional Requirements:
