Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services is seeking a Middleware Engineer in Bengaluru, India. The role requires 8–12 years of middleware experience, with expert knowledge of Tomcat and other web application servers, HA deployments, security reviews, and Ansible scripting.

The candidate will support PowerCurve production regions (L1/L2) and collaborate with development teams to implement long-term fixes. The position expects strong Unix/Linux (RHEL) skills, excellent communication, and stakeholder

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in middleware engineering or similar role.
• Advanced knowledge of Tomcat and other web application servers.
• Experience in high availability and secure environments.
• Experience in security reviews and penetration testing of deployed solutions.
• Strong Unix/Linux knowledge, especially RHEL.
• Proficient in Ansible scripting and best practices.
• Experience in batch support, incident and crisis management for production and non-production environments.
• L1/L2 application support for PowerCurve production regions.
• Collaborate with development team to resolve incidents and implement long-term fixes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to login early for NZ business overlap (7 AM IST).

• Work with the development team to resolve incidents and implement long-term fixes.

Description :

Minimum of 8-12 years of experience

Advanced knowledge of design, build Tomcat (and other web application) - application servers to industry best practice standards.

Advanced knowledge of build and operation of Tomcat (and other web application) application servers in a high availability and secure environment

Advanced knowledge in managing and responding to security reviews and penetration testing of deployed solutions.

Advanced knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and RHEL in particular.

Advanced knowledge of Ansible scripting and scripting best practices.

Participate in batch support, incident, and crisis management for non-production and production environments

Primary and Secondary Application Support (L1 & L2) for PowerCurve production regions

Working with Development Team in resolving of incidents and implementing long term fixes

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills

Early login to support NZ business overlap (7 AM IST login)
