Qualifications

• Integrate maps, timelines, primary sources, projects and technology into teaching.
• Conduct regular assessments and track student progress and performance records.
• Collaborate with teachers for curriculum planning and implementation.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging History lessons for students in Grades 6-8.
• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, activities, assessments, and other teaching resources.
• Explain historical events, civilizations, cultures, geography, and socio-political developments in an age-appropriate manner.
• Use interactive and innovative teaching methodologies to encourage student participation.
• Integrate maps, timelines, primary sources, projects, presentations, and technology into classroom teaching.
• Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students.
• Track and maintain students' academic progress and performance records.
• Identify learning gaps and provide appropriate academic support.
• Encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, research skills, and classroom discussions.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Collaborate with other teachers and the academic team for curriculum planning and implementation.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, academic activities, and co-curricular programs.
• Maintain accurate academic and student-related documentation as required by the school.
• Contribute to the overall development, discipline, and well-being of students.

• Experience teaching Middle School / Grades 6-8 is preferred.
• Experience with CBSE/ICSE curriculum will be an added advantage.

• Strong academic background in History.
• Experience handling middle school students.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are preferred.
• Candidates with experience in reputed schools are preferred.
