Job summary

K12 Techno Services is seeking a Social Studies/History teacher for our Gurugram campus. You will design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with CBSE/ICSE curricula and assess student progress.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of classroom experience, a B.Ed., and strong communication, with proficiency in using digital learning tools to support interactive teaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in History, Political Science, Sociology, or Social Sciences with a B.Ed.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans in Social Studies / History in alignment with the schools curriculum guidelines.
• Conduct regular classroom assessments, track student academic performance, and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Organize and participate in school events, exhibitions, workshops, and extracurricular activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, behavioral development, and academic needs during parent-teacher meetings.
• Collaborate with the academic team to continuously update and improve instructional materials and teaching techniques.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in History, Political Science, Sociology, or Social Sciences with a B.Ed. degree.
• Experience: 2-5 years of teaching experience in Social Studies/History at a recognized CBSE, ICSE, or International school.
• Key Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, classroom management, lesson planning, and proficiency in using digital learning tools/smart classroom technologies.
• Strong subject matter knowledge and a passion for interactive, student-centered teaching methodologies.
