HR Interface Recruitment Consulting is hiring a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Project Manager for our client’s enterprise technology delivery team. This is a hands-on leadership and client-facing role delivering end-to-end BC implementations from inception through go-live and stabilization.

Locations include Mumbai (Lower Parel) or Kolkata with a CTC of ₹20–25 LPA, depending on experience. Requires 5+ years in PM and 3+ years BC experience; BE/BTech/MCA mandatory.

Job description

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is mandatory. We are seeking Project Managers with at least 3 years of direct Business Central implementation experience. Experience limited to Dynamics 365 F&O, CRM/CE or another ERP platform will not meet this requirement.

This is an ERP implementation delivery role—not a developer, Solution Architect or Practice Head position. You must have owned the planning, coordination and successful delivery of end-to-end Business Central projects, including client go-live.

Relevant experience: 5+ years in project management (ideally 5–7 years), with demonstrable ownership of Business Central implementations. Experience delivering projects for external clients in an IT services or consulting environment is strongly preferred.

Locations: Mumbai (Lower Parel) or Kolkata | CTC: ₹20–25 LPA, depending on experience and suitability.

Position Overview

We at HR Interface Recruitment Consulting are hiring a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Project Manager for our client’s enterprise technology delivery team.

This is a hands-on project leadership and client-facing consulting role, responsible for taking Business Central implementation engagements from project initiation and requirements discovery through execution, testing, go-live and stabilization. You will oversee scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks and delivery quality while coordinating functional consultants, technical teams and client stakeholders.

The emphasis is on successful implementation delivery—not personally writing code or owning solution architecture. You must, however, understand Business Central well enough to challenge assumptions, identify dependencies, address delivery risks and guide informed project decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning, Governance & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end Business Central implementation projects, from kickoff and scope definition to deployment, closure and handover.
• Prepare delivery plans, milestones, effort estimates, resource allocations, budgets and project documentation.
• Track progress, dependencies, risks, issues and scope changes; implement corrective actions to protect delivery commitments.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, keeping stakeholders informed about progress, priorities and escalations.

Business Central Implementation Oversight

• Coordinate discovery workshops, requirements gathering, process mapping and functional specification activities with the relevant specialists.
• Oversee implementation workstreams such as configuration, customization, integrations, data migration, testing, UAT and cutover planning.
• Understand the implications of Business Central processes across areas such as finance, purchasing, sales and inventory, according to each project's scope.
• Support go-live readiness, issue resolution, post-go-live stabilization and transition to support teams.

Client, Stakeholder & Team Leadership

• Act as a primary point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring clear expectations, timely decisions and transparent communication.
• Coordinate functional consultants, developers, testers, business users and remote or cross-functional teams.
• Lead project reviews, communicate delivery status to clients and senior management, and manage escalations constructively.
• Maintain project documentation, quality controls and agreed acceptance criteria throughout delivery.

• 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in the 5–7-year range, including 3+ years working directly on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations.
• Demonstrated responsibility for end-to-end Business Central project delivery, with successful production go-live experience; candidates should be able to explain the projects they have led and their individual accountability.
• Good working understanding of Business Central's ERP capabilities, business processes, implementation stages and the dependencies between functional and technical workstreams.
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, delivery risks and stakeholder expectations.
• Ability to manage several priorities or concurrent projects and collaborate with distributed teams.
• Strong client-facing communication, documentation, leadership, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• BE / BTech / MCA or equivalent qualification.

Preferred / Advantageous

• Experience with a Microsoft Dynamics implementation partner, ERP consulting firm or IT services organization delivering solutions to external clients.
• Exposure to Dynamics NAV alongside current Business Central experience; familiarity with integrations, data migration and multi-module ERP rollouts.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification (advantageous, not mandatory).
• Please note: Experience exclusively in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, CRM/Customer Engagement, SAP or NetSuite is not a substitute for hands-on Business Central implementation delivery experience.
