Job summary

techcarrot in Chennai, India is seeking a backend developer to design and implement scalable microservices using Node.js and TypeScript, focused on cloud-native architectures on Azure.

You will build RESTful APIs, deploy on AKS, secure APIs with OAuth2/OpenID Connect/AAD, and collaborate with product, QA, DevOps. Applicants should have 3–6 years of backend experience and strong CI/CD skills.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript for backend development.
• Experience designing and building microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services, especially AKS, API Management, and Key Vault.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes concepts.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of API security best practices and OWASP guideline
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-6 years of hands-on backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
