Job summary

Recro is seeking a backend software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable services and APIs, taking technical ownership of projects and features to ensure high performance and reliability.

You will architect and enhance microservices within a distributed system, collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams, participate in code reviews, and implement CI/CD with Docker and Jenkins, while working with MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 1-6 years of backend development experience.
• Strong Node.js and NestJS experience.
• Experience with MongoDB, Redis, Kafka.
• Familiar with Docker, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines.
• Kubernetes exposure; microservices and system design knowledge.
• Cloud platform exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
