Job summary

Persistent Systems in Pune is seeking a senior .NET/Azure developer to design, build, and maintain scalable applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET, ASP.NET Core, and Web APIs.

You will develop cloud-based solutions on Azure, including Functions, App Services, Storage, and Service Bus, and implement secure, reliable architectures.

Responsibilities cover REST APIs, microservices, CI/CD with Azure DevOps, code reviews, testing, monitoring, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in C# and .NET development; preferably with .NET Core/.NET and ASP.NET Core.

Required Skills & Eligibility

• Strong experience developing REST APIs, web applications, microservices, and enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of Azure cloud architecture, scalability, availability, networking, authentication, authorization, and application security.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of Git/source control, branching strategies, code reviews, and release management.
• Good knowledge of SQL/relational databases and application integration patterns.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle practices.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, ownership, and teamwork skills.
